I suspect that a premium is attached to the price of many May Berlin instruments because they are "selected by Schimmel". In addition, they make a few other brands which are of good quality. Their factory makes Kawai for domestic distribution in China, the May Berlin verticals for Schimmel and the Brodmann line of pianos as well. Parsons is a huge, full-line music store. The parent company also owns the Parsons Music store chain in China. The May Berlin is made by the Toyama factory. ![]()
